Frequently asked questions
Are you taking new patients?
Yes — new patients are always welcome at Fannie Bay Medical Centre. The easiest way to book your first appointment is online with HotDoc, or call reception on 08 7918 0888.
Do you bulk bill?
We're a mixed-billing clinic. We bulk bill children under 16, Pensioner Concession Card holders and DVA card holders. Other patients are charged a private fee with a Medicare rebate available — see our Fees Guide.
Can I see a male or female doctor?
Yes. We have both male and female doctors so you can choose the GP you're most comfortable with. Let reception know your preference when booking.
How do I get my test results?
Please book a follow-up appointment to discuss any test results with your doctor. For urgent results, our team will contact you directly.
What should I do after hours or in an emergency?
In an emergency, always call 000. For non-urgent after-hours health advice, you can call 13 HEALTH on 1343 25 84 30 or visit your nearest emergency department.
